Synopsis
Our shows are products of contemporary art: total works of art, social sculptures, craft and manufacturing products; in which scenography, staging, lighting design, choreographic composition, performances and unpublished texts meet within original dramaturgies. Performances that make predominant use of visual language, in which the image does not translate a discourse or a narration, but is the narration itself.
Artistic research
Bocchi/Scarrocchia Theater Company, was born in Bergamo in February 2020 and is the result of a collaboration that lasted several years. In fact, since well before the foundation of our company, we have been dealing with social theater and community dance in contexts of social marginalization. We met in 2014, within the theater laboratory made up of users of mental health services, family members, actors and dancers that Agnese Bocchi started in 2008.
